011. Information We Collect

  • Account Identity: We collect your phone number as your primary unique identifier for secure authentication.
  • Manual Address: We collect text-based addresses (e.g., Hostel, Room No) that you manually provide for order reference. Note: Precise live GPS tracking is disabled in our current college MVP version.
  • Device Intelligence: We collect your unique Device ID and IP address solely for fraud prevention, multi-account detection, and ensuring Trust Score integrity.
  • Service Data: Documents (PDF, Images, Word) you upload for Xerox services are stored temporarily and are encrypted during transit via SSL/TLS.
  • Operational Metadata: We collect Transaction IDs (UTR) or payment verification data to validate manual shop payments.

022. Data Security & Encryption

  • One-Way Hashing: Your passwords and Admin PINs are protected using industry-standard one-way cryptographic hashing. Achigo staff cannot read your actual password.
  • Secure Transit: All communication between the Achigo App and our backend servers is encrypted using 256-bit SSL/TLS protocols.
  • Restricted Access: Merchant shops can only access your uploaded documents during the active lifecycle of your order. Access is revoked after secure completion or earlier if you trigger Manual Burn.
  • Infrastructure Security: Our databases are hosted in secured environments with strict access controls and regular security audits.

033. Document Retention and Deletion

  • We prioritize student document safety above all else. Your sensitive IDs and academic materials belong only to you.
  • Manual Burn: You can trigger an immediate 'Manual Burn' from the order history as soon as you collect your prints, which permanently wipes the file from our cloud.
  • Auto-Purge: For your protection, any document not manually burned is automatically and permanently deleted by our system within 24 hours after secure order completion, unless retention is temporarily required for an active dispute or legal obligation.
  • No Content Analysis: Achigo does not index, read, or analyze the content of your documents for any purpose other than facilitating the print request.

044. Your Rights and Control

  • Access & Portability: You can view all your profile data and order history directly within the App settings.
  • Account Deletion: You may request account deletion at any time. Upon request, we anonymize your identity and purge all associated personal records.
  • Trust Score Transparency: You have the right to view your Trust Score and appeal any drops caused by technical failures or disputed cancellations.
